Some of the new vocabulary for you to understand the song better: take over: to conquer (like the Spanish did to America in 1492); insane: (crazy); mice (the plural of mouse); splice (join, put together); unfurled (developed, opened); dawning of the sun (the sunrise, when the sun comes up); dinky (insignificant); worth (value); overthrow (to cause the destruction).
